This full tang tactical katana is a hand forged entry level utilitarian sword for the beginner! The handle features non-slip checkered scales with brass dowel rod bolts and a paracord lanyard that can be untied for use as a lashing cord. The solid hand guard is drilled with lashing holes as well. This sword comes complete with a wood scabbard with a para-cord sageo and is done in a matte speckled finish to hide fingerprints. This tactical has a 5.5 mm extra thick blade that is forged from 1045 high carbon steel and sharpened for the backyard cutter. This piece is far from traditional but is a fun cost effective beginner sword.
